Every day, at the end of the day, Throwing Into Traffic will leave you with something to learn from the wonderful world of the NFL. Because if you're not living your life like these guys, can you really call it a "life"?
Look at Oakland's last four first round picks, and you see that every year, without fail, they've taken the splashiest, most attention grabbing player, regardless of what their biggest need is. Nobody is advocating for the 10 year plan of Matt Millen, but isn't the only thing worse than a bad symphony a bunch of guys with instruments making noise without rhyme or reason? I called it the difference between art and "spectacle" a year ago, but this isn't even that; a spectacle makes you want to watch, and this team lacks even that ability to inspire curiosity.
